I've been debating on if I should put up another post or not. Mainly because I don't want to tell everyone every little thing (especially since I've made a lot of enemies with this film that would love to see me fail). You know what? I'm going to talk about EVERY problem that has been going on on this set. I won't name names because that would be unprofessional and I never posted a complete cast list because I saw how my last production went. I told you guys all the problems I ran into with my short film as I encountered them and worked through them. These are the problems I've had and haven't talked about. Let's go.
Yes, I'm pissed as hell that we had to cancel a couple weekends but I know in the long run that I know what I'm doing and if my movie turns out even watchable after all this. I consider my job complete. I will say that I made a good movie after all the problems I had making it and then I'll go shoot a couple more short films before I make another feature. I've met a lot of people that run into problems easier solved than these and they have a fucking nervous breakdown. Yeah, I broke down crying after being up for 31 hours (14 of which were spent shooting and another 5 were spent at my actual job) but I haven't had a nervous breakdown. I have this. I do. I've got this like....well, like this
Yeah, I'm that guy with the rope and my movie is James Bond. I think that means I die at the end but who cares? The way I see it, everyone dies but film can make you immortal. Yes we still occasionally talk about Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff but I hear mention of Akira Kurosawa way more than Toshiro Mifune. So filmmakers are the ones who become immortal good luck finding EVERY movie of your favorite actor but every movie of your favorite director is a goal that is much easier to accomplish.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell everyone everything that has happened to me since I started shooting this movie. Like I said, I just hope it's good. It doesn't have to be a masterpiece or the greatest film ever or anything like that but I just want to turn out a good movie. Even if you only vote it three stars on Netflix.
