You may not get any crazy Decades Apart updates for a while. Why? Because I'm busy Keeping Justice. It's gonna be a wild ride.
So while you wait for our new film to come out, I've taken the liberty of posting a review for our first feature. Yes, we totally got shat on but I'm happy about it.
That guy is also really cool, so I suggest you give him a like. It helped get us more exposure, I genuinely don't feel like I'm talking to myself anymore.
Anyway, like I said, I don't have all the time in the world since I've started Keeping Justice. I'll keep you update along the way but don't expect too much. I'm happy, hope you're happy too. 🤘
Are you pansies ready to get triggered?
Man, oh man, where to begin? The US had its presidential election last night and we voted a sentient hair piece to be our new president over the Godzilla monster who has been running for the past 100 years.
Actually, let me give you a bit of background. My name is RJ Cusyk and this is my website DecadesApartProductions.com. We're an independent movie studio currently based in Wisconsin but started in Colorado. We have made two really shitty feature films which have received okay reviews. I'm considered "over ambitious" and "kind of an asshole."
There, a bit of background on me and the company. Now, I will be the first to say that I am 100% anti-Democrat. This does not mean that I'm Republican but I would vote Republican every time if you put a gun to my head and say "pick between party A and B." Why? Because Dee Snider and Frank Zappa didn't fight Republicans for freedom of expression in music.
I'm not saying that Repubs are any better, because they're not. Both parties are garbage but I'll get to that. See, what influenced me to write this post was all the people on the Decades Apart twitter complaining about "people elected hate. I need to push more love into the world." No, you're wrong.
People voted for a guy who isn't afraid of speaking his mind. They want a guy who says to another guy in private "grab them by the pussy." The American people are tired of the political correctness and the self censoring. They feel a vote for Trump is a push in the right direction. Maybe they're right.
Am I happy that Trump is President of the United States? Honestly, I don't care. To me, the president is nothing more than a face to blame. I feel the election last night was more like:
Who do you want to blame for your problems the next four years?
A grandma with Alzheimer's
A man who looks like Donald Trump
In that scenario, yes, I am glad that Donald Trump won. Just look at him! That is totally an 80's billionaire tycoon who's trying to take over the community center!
In fact, him being an 80's billionaire tycoon and being so anti-PC are the only reasons why I am happy that he won. See, like I said earlier, the system we have now is garbage. I hate career politicians; always have, always will. I don't trust any of them. I like how he's a business man because he knows what kind of people to pick as his advisers. He wants to pick guys who know what the hell they're doing, not because they're his brother.
For as long as I can remember, I've hated the system we have. I think we should abolish the two party system and stop voting for politicians. Do you even know why we have two parties? Republicans were about freeing the slaves and the Democrats wanted slaves. Amazing how things have changed, huh? The reason I mention that though is to show how obsolete the two party system is. Moving away from it is definitely something that I feel we're beginning to move towards but it will take time.
One more thing people, we also need to stop hating on one another for having different views on life. That shit is getting out of control. Democrats and Republicans should be able to get along as long as they're not talking politics but they seem to be at odds with one another these days. Stop with the groups and all that other stuff. We're all pieces of shit in the same bowl, we should at least try to get along.
It's only keeping us fighting and the longer we fight, the more we sleep. The more we sleep, the longer we have old systems. The longer we have old obsolete systems, the longer nothing changes.
