I actually didn't know this until I chose Housebound for the list, did you know the director also directed M3gan? I didn't. I may actually check M3gan out now simply due to that. Because, here's the thing. I dig Housebound, a lot.

Housebound is a movie about a young girl who has gotten in trouble with the law and is forced to move back in with her parents under house arrest. Unfortunately, her parents live in a haunted house. That's all I'm going to say about it.

Housebound was released around a sort of renaissance of horror-comedy movies like Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Dead Snow, John Dies at the End, and Cabin in the Woods. If you're into that sort of thing, you'll definitely enjoy this.

Plus it's from New Zealand, land of Braindead/Dead Alive.
