Julia's Eyes is a movie that I really enjoyed but I really don't see very often on lists. It's a very good and effective horror film and I would love to see it get more attention.

Julia is a woman with a degenerative eye condition which will sooner or later leave her blind. She goes to bury her sister who had the same condition and has also recently committed suicide. Julia is convinced that her sister did not commit suicide and believes she was murdered.

Julia's eyes feels very giallo-esque. It's a slow burning mystery where normal people are trying to solve a murder. I love the added layer of Julia's eyesight slowly failing her. It reminds me of movies like Wait Until Dark where a blind woman is harassed by criminals.

You begin questioning every character and their motivation. It's a masterful suspense film and I think it definitely deserves more attention.
