I have always been a huge fan of Tales from the Crypt, even though the only time I was able to watch it growing up is when my family would stay in a hotel room. It was just a show that I really enjoyed. Then when I was a little older, I would watch edited episodes on a channel called Chiller. Not the one owned by NBC, the one that would occasionally play this as a reminder of what channel you're watching.
Even though, I was a huge fan of the show, I hadn't seen Demon Knight until a few years ago. If you're a fan of the series but haven't seen Demon Knight, you're missing out. It does all the things the show was known for and crams them all into an hour and a half long movie.
Demon Knight is about a demon (Billy Zane) trying to capture an important artifact from a drifter (William Sadler). The film in stuffed to the brim with great monster effects. It plays more like a sequel to Evil Dead than it does a Tales from the Crypt episode.
If you haven't seen it yet, I definitely recommend it.
