Dellamorte Dellamore (Of Death, Of Love) is an Italian movie about a man who works in a cemetery with his servant? Anyway, the dead are constantly coming back and it is up to Francesco Dellamorte (Rupert Everett) to stop them.
That's the best summary of this film I can give because Dellamorte Dellamore is not your standard zombie fare. If you like comic books and you like weird Italian movies, you're gonna have a great time.
This film captures the essence of comics on a level that very few films have done. I think the last film that truly accomplished that would be Constantine. Which is a bit coincidental because the inspiration for Dellamorte is a comic known as Dylan Dog who has been rumored for years to soon have a crossover with Hellblazer.
As I said, if you want a straight forward zombie movie, skip this one. However, if you want a story about love and death featuring zombies. This is right up your alley.
