Picture
Starring: Julian Sands, Richard E. Grant, and Lori Singer
Written by: David Twohy
Directed by: Steve Miner
Warlock is perhaps one of the cheesier horror movies I've seen in some time. Yet, I loved every second of it. Personally, I largely contribute this to Julian Sands stealing the show.

However, he's not working alone, Steve Miner (the director of movies such as House, H20, a few Friday the 13th, and that movie with C. Thomas Howell in black face) brings his comedic flair to the movie as well. Richard Grand is also fantastic and I think him not returning for the sequel was a huge detriment to that movie.

One of my favorite parts in the movie is where Julian Sands kills a child to obtain the power of flight because Sands seems to be having a grand time just being in this movie.

The effects in this movie are great, one of my favorite being the guy who gets his tongue sucked out and spit into a frying pan. Warlock is just a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.
