I really hate getting political. More than anything else, I hate putting my hat in the ring to support either side in a social discourse that I really couldn't care less about. I don't care about red or blue, I don't care about which wing you claim to be a part of. In reality, I'm just a stupid guy who wants to make movies. However, that said, I do support one thing: Freedom of Speech. I've talked about freedom of speech a lot over the last few years. Would you like to know why? Because I have been feeling this overwhelming sense of dread that it is under attack. Over the weekend, this foreboding sense of dread felt even more overwhelming. Cloudflare recently decided to drop a website known as kiwifarms. I know the majority of my audience probably has no idea what this website is. Let me elaborate. KiwiFarms is a website focused on documenting strange individuals on the Internet. That's it.
I have browsed KiwiFarms numerous times to get more information on Internet drama. For example, a YouTuber known as Razorfist had his accounts deleted. I wondered what happened so I checked the Razorfist thread, it turns out his girlfriend dumped him and he was in denial about it. However, they documented his ex-girlfriend talking shit about him on her privated twitter account. Over the last month KiwiFarms has been accused of doxing, bullying, and swatting. That sounds just like twitter, facebook, and every other social media website. However, other than a swatting attack against Marjorie Taylor Greene, there has been no proof that KiwiFarms users have swatted anyone. Let's talk about that Marjorie Taylor Greene incident, by the way. If you're going to commit a federal crime, are you really going to call up the police and say, "herro, police. My name is Jeff Bridges and you can find me on the website imdb.com." No! Only a complete numpty would believe something like that. Here's the reality, Clara Sorrenti, the person who has been leading the campaign to shut down KiwiFarms, had a lot of documentation proving that she had been grooming children over Discord. Clara Sorrenti had also been giving HRT to children behind their parents' back. This is another fact that was documented through archives on Kiwi Farms. Clara claims that she was swatted by members of the KiwiFarms and that the Canadian police "deadnamed" her. The police have already proven that this is not accurate. How much more of this statement is a lie? Other people have joined forces with Clara Sorrenti to have the site taken down. Would you like to guess what kind of people this entails? One of them is a sexual predator, one of them is a sex pest who would like to breed women against their will, a few of them are pedophiles. Are you noticing a trend here? These people can all benefit from the deletion of a site such as KiwiFarms. Of course they wouldn't want all of their dirty laundry in one place where several people can talk about it and mock them for it. I know that freedom of speech is dying. I know that people will kowtow to the politically correct agenda because it's more convenient for them. The screeching unwashed cretins who want to censor freedom of expression are slowly getting louder. Yes, KiwiFarms has a lot of degenerate individuals on it. However, I fear if I don't speak up for them that my voice will be the next to be silenced.
